educational maths games for kids has become a popular tool for parents to be able to teach their children the basic concepts of math. However, the effects of playing these types of games have been not the same for all kids. Some find it interesting, so they begin to be interested and have the initiative to learn more. Some find the game too overwhelming, therefore becoming intimidated to learn math and slowly lose interest. Coming up with a definite answer if math games are helpful or stressful to children will be really difficult but there are ways wherein we can measure if it is indeed effective and if it is pressuring the child, we can also look for points of improvement.
For the kids who have adjusted easily to math games, they could either be really intelligent or treat it as a way to have fun. There is nothing wrong with this scenario, for it will only boost their confidence and stimulate their analytic and memory skills. However, for those kids who are having difficulty to cope up, maybe the manner of teaching should be the one improved. Instead of pressuring the kids to learn all the ideas immediately, maybe parents can opt to show them to treat it just as a game, that they will not be punished if they commit a mistake and they are just doing it for fun. That could increase their interest and lessen the pressure, making them more interested. Who knows, maybe it could be the key to success and be work wonders for the child as well.
