Despite our adherence to modern standards and despite the fact that we live in a modern home, we want some essence of the ancient days infused in our dwellings and in our living rooms. We want our homes to look as modern and as stunning as possible. Classical lamps are great add-ons to our homes. However, we don’t want the old-problems associated with such lamps like rust formation, poor wood, and bad lighting connections. Luckily, there are brilliant minds living in this century and they have devised ways to bring back the old designs using modern materials. Instead of using ordinary hardwood susceptible to weathering and decomposition by bacterial elements, these woods have been specially treated to make sure that they will not undergo natural decomposition. Aside from that, ultra modern protective paints are used to make the materials as waterproof as possible. The old iron bars and curves have now been replaced by stainless steel which is much cheaper and much stronger that the iron bars. In other words, the classical lamps designed using modern materials are cost efficient and they are definitely state-of-the-art.
Sadly, the ordinary furniture shops or the furniture corners in the suburban and city malls don’t have the right ones we are looking for. We see classical-designed lamps but the makers adhered to the old materials used. In other words, they based their design and construction on some old books written prior to the Crimean War. Some shops are even worse; they sell lamps which appear like creations of novice or untalented people. The golden lighting lamps displayed on our website are definitely much more different than those you see in the usual furniture store. We display only the best and we have a creative director to find out whether the designs match the classical concepts and whether the materials used are the perfect ones which can withstand the elements and time.
